Android 13 has another leaked feature that is expected to enhance the gaming experience of mobile players.
Although Google hasn't launched the new Android software version, many speculations about the features it might bring are already circulating the internet.
These include the so-called GAME_LOADING mode. Since Android smartphones are less efficient than gaming PCs, they are expected to experience long game loading times.
But, the new Android 13 version might be able to change this mobile gaming scenario.
Android 13 To Reduce Game Loading Times?
According to XDA Developers' latest report, the current Android 12 already offers features that enhance consumers' gaming experiences.
These include the advanced Game Dashboard utility; a feature that allows users to access essential phone tools, such as the screen recorder, DND toggle, as well as a screenshot shortcut.
Now, Android 13 is also expected to continue this game enhancement trend. Some rumors suggest that this new smartphone system will use the new setGameState method, integrated into the GameManager API.
The new tech will specifically allow the Android platform to power HAL (hardware abstraction layer) to activate the new GAME_LOADING mode feature, which is specifically designed to reduce game loading times.
Rumored Release Date, First Phone, and More
Google hasn't confirmed the exact release date of the new Android 13. But, based on the pattern of the tech giant firm, the new software version might be launched around August or September.
When it comes to the phone model, GizChina reported that the upcoming Google Pixel 7 is expected to be the first device to receive the new Android 13.
But, it is still unclear if the new Android device will also have the new GAME_LOADING mode feature.
Various speculations believe that Google will unveil the Pixel 7 lineup around October, which is a month after the estimated Android 13 launch date.
Meanwhile, Google Play Store enhances Android security by limiting the presence of apps with outdated APIs.
On the other hand, a new Google iOS tool makes iPhone to Android transition easier and smoother.
