Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who just recently joined the Twitter board, proposed the idea of transforming the social media giant's headquarters in San Francisco into a homeless shelter.
The idea came from the billionaire following another suggestion on how Twitter could make use of Dogecoin for its service.
Elon Musk's Early Suggestions on Twitter
When the news broke out about Musk joining the Twitter board of directors, everybody expected that the SpaceX CEO will make a huge move to improve the company's service.
Over the week, Musk initially proposed that those who will subscribe for the monthly Twitter Blue subscription will be given an authentication checkmark. In this way, Musk said that more users will be verified so those who create "bot armies" will find them "expensive" to maintain.
In addition, the new member of the board explained that there should be a distinguishable difference between the checkmark and the "public figure" mark.
That's not the only perk that the subscribers will get since they will also receive a myriad of features which include the "edit" feature wherein they can modify their tweets within a 20-second time frame, as well as the absence of annoying advertisements.
Furthermore, another post wrote that Musk wants to explore new changes in rolling out the subscription fees. The Associated Press reported that the tech boss plans to include the option to accept Dogecoin on Twitter.
Musk added that this implementation should be proportionate to the local currency and its affordability.

Bezos and Andreesen on Musk's Proposal About Homeless Shelter
While many users are surprised that Musk has a lot of proposals in his mind, another suggestion caught the attention of many including his fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos and Marc Andreesen.
Musk tweeted out a poll about converting a Twitter headquarters in San Francisco into a homeless shelter over the weekend. As of writing, 91.3% of the respondents said that the company should do this while only 8.7% disagreed with Musk's recommendation.
On Sunday night of Apr. 10, Bezos shared his thoughts about Musk's proposal. MSN reported that the former Amazon boss backed up Elon's idea of turning Twitter's HQ into a homeless shelter.
Musk answered back that it was a great idea indeed, citing that homelessness is a common issue. He also highlighted that many people were pressed by underlying conditions such as drug addiction and "urban decay."
Meanwhile, Andreesen opened up the possibility of welcoming employees if a part of a building is dedicated to the homeless. In his tweet, the Silicon Valley businessman wrote "Every other desk."
Some Twitter users love Andreesen's tweet while others criticized how the company will handle the homeless volunteers in the most appropriate manner.
