According to a report by Engadget on Wednesday, April 6, the new update can now allow you to switch to cable TV during the download process. It's hassle-free given the fact that you won't need your remote to operate the current input.

In this way, your movie-viewing moment won't be interrupted even though your Xbox Series S or X is downloading a game or patching an update. It should be noted that the HDMI-CEC support varies from one next-gen Xbox console to another.

Right away, if you want to activate this feature, explore the "Sleep mode and startup" settings section. You can see this option on the "TV & A/V power."

Indeed, this is an effective feature for those who find switching back to a console time-consuming. Although it's not a new update, it's still an interesting change for the Xbox button.

Setting up this feature on your Xbox Series S or X controller comes in simplified procedures. As Trusted Reviews spotted via the Xbox support page, you can begin by going to the setting screen option which reads "TV & A/V power."

Then, click the Xbox button and you will be directed to a guide. After that, go to the Profile & System, then Settings. Next, tap General, then the Sleep Mode & startup to arrive at the power options.

Other than that, this Xbox update also tackles controlling the menus and the apps on the Xbox screen through your TV remote. If you want to use more apps such as Netflix, this extra update will indeed be a helpful addition to that.

In other news, Tech Times reported last month that Marvel unveiled its special controller inspired by the popular hero series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."

The so-called Xbox Captain America controller comes with wireless capability. It also boasts fast-charging support thanks to Razer's technology.

If you watched this Disney series, you will immediately see Sam Wilson's outfit as its design. For the rest of its parts, the iconic Captain America colors (red, blue, and white) can be seen. The rear part is colored in black.

At the same time, Xbox gamers can take advantage of reading a lot of Marvel comics if they are subscribed to the Game Pass. It's the latest promo of the company that will surely hook up Marvel fans not just in gaming but in exploring other universes inside numerous stories.
