The upcoming foldable iPhone might be similar to the current Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. Although Apple hasn't released this new product yet, many rumors about it are already emerging.
One of the latest leaks was announced by the reliable Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo. He said that the new foldable device's earliest launch date might be in 2025.
But, this will still depend on the production and development efficiency of the gadget maker. Aside from this, he also claimed that the new iPhone could be a combination of smartphone and tablet (iPhone and iPad).

"I predict Apple may launch its first foldable product in 2025 at the earliest, which may be a foldable iPad or a hybrid of iPad & iPhone," he said via his official Twitter announcement.
The Apple analyst added that the new foldable device would be offered in large, medium, and small variants, as reported by 9To5Mac.
Aside from this, Kuo also believes that the giant tech firm is testing a 9-inches model of the foldable iPhone.
However, he clarified that this might not be the final product since the prototype is being used to verify important features for the hybrid gadget.
How Foldable Might iPhone Work?
The advanced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is quite different from the older foldable smartphones. While Galaxy Z Flip 3 can bend/close horizontally, Galaxy Z Fold folds vertically.
When fully opened, its size is comparable to a tablet. On the other hand, it looks like a regular smartphone when it is folded.
If Kuo's leak is true, then the new foldable iPhone may also work in the same approach. However, this will still remain a rumor until the giant tech company confirms it.
Meanwhile, Apple is expected to launch a new iPhone leasing service to change how consumers own its smartphones.
Recently, the new 2022 iPhone SE was able to pass Allstate's durability test.
