Xbox Series X Restock?

In this day and age, buying the next-generation gaming consoles out there, such as the Xbox Series X and the Sony PlayStation 5, is not an entirely straightforward process.

Purchasing these consoles in retail is not as simple as buying a new smartphone as shelves of the former are easily emptied once it replenishes in merely a few seconds.

That said, Microsoft is now selling a refurbished version of its coveted next-gen gaming console, the Xbox Series X.

Microsoft's Refurbished Xbox Series X

As per a news story by Windows Central, even though the Xbox Series X is still a rare find, Microsoft is now offering it to its buyers for a lower price as it introduces its second-hand program for the gaming console.

The tech giant is now offering fans of the gaming console a new way to get their hands on the Xbox Series X through its all-new second-hand program.

Microsoft dubs its pre-owned Xbox gaming consoles as "Certified Refurbished." The distinction between this from any other used device is that it undergoes a process before the tech giant resells the second-hand gaming device, according to a recent report by Tech Spot.

The giant firm behind the Xbox consoles said that its "Certified Refurbished" consoles have to go through its "complete refurbishment process," wherein it was not only repaired and tested, it was also cleaned along the way.

Not to mention that the "Certified Refurbished" Xbox consoles also come with a warranty, which lasts up to 12 months or a year.

That's not all, it is also eligible for a Microsoft Complete protection plan, which, in turn, would further extend the warranty of the refurbished gaming console up to 36 months or three years. It would only cost an additional $49.
