"Among Us" servers have been down for a few days already, exceeding 48 hours, disallowing its users to play the multiplayer social deduction game of Innersloth.
'Among Us' Servers Down
As per a news story by Game Rant, the social deduction gaming title became a viral hit way back in 2021, but since then, its massive popularity has started to dwindle over time.
Nevertheless, there are still some players of the game who stayed despite the fading popularity of the pandemic-hit gaming title.
However, these players who remained loyal to the social deduction gaming title are now experiencing a massive server outage, which prevents them from accessing "Among Us" for a few days already.
GameRant noted that "Among Us" has been inaccessible since last March 24, and until now it has yet to get back on its feet.
To be more precise, the servers of the multiplayer gaming title have been down both in Europe and in North America, making it impossible for its players to use these servers to enjoy the game this weekend.
'Among Us' Servers DDOS Attack
According to a recent report by Kotaku, the developers of "Among Us," Innersloth, said that its servers in both North America and Europe are experiencing a DDOS attack.
The official Twitter account of "Among Us" said that "we have a sabotage going on," adding that the gaming title will remain offline as it is still fixing the issue.
Meanwhile, Kotaku said in its report that some players of Among Us were already complaining about the server mess before the devs admitted that there was a DDOS attack.
Some "Among Us" players were saying that it was impossible for them to connect to the game. It comes shortly before Innersloth announced that its servers are "getting DDOS'd."
It is worth noting that the devs of "Among Us" further added in its announcement that fixing the servers might take some time, asking its users to "hang tight"-all the while issuing an apology to its players.
However, it has been more than 48 hours since, but the servers of "Among Us" in North America and Europe have yet to go online again.
In fact, the devs update its community that its servers remain offline or unstable as they are still trying to fix it.
To inject some humor into the stressful situation for the devs, the official "Among Us" Twitter said that they were supposed to be getting a croissant, but, instead, they are working on a Saturday.
