For those who have no idea what is fairings, these are the parts of a motorcycle that protects or covers the engine and other internal components.

The e-bike maker will work with its new eco-friendly partner to find materials to replace the plastics used for motorcycle fairings.

"We're excited to work with PaperShell and hope that we can play a crucial part in finding a material that can minimize or even eradicate the use of conventional plastics in our motorcycles," said CAKE's Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Ytterborn.

He explained that the collaboration with PaperShell will benefit the whole auto industry in the long run.
