Samsung Galaxy S22 GPS Issue

As per a news story by SamMobile, numerous Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra users have been complaining about the wonky GPS feature of the latest flagship smartphone on various community forums of the phone maker.

The new flagship device of Samsung, the Galaxy S22, debuted last Feb. 9 with much hype from its fans, which was followed by impressive sales numbers.

Despite that, the smartphone still carried some issues involving its display, which had a problem with its refresh rate and another bug. But Sam Mobile noted in its report that these issues have already been resolved by software updates.

This time around, though, a new issue that some Galaxy S22 Ultra users are complaining about has something to do with its GPS feature.

It turns out that some users experience a GPS problem, wherein navigation apps like Google Maps notify its users that it "cannot find GPS."

Some users claim that the issue starts as soon as they finish setting up their smartphones. On the other hand, others say that it occurs after a couple of hours that their phones have been inactive.

It appears that the consistent posts on Samsung community forums regarding the wonky GPS of the new flagship phone have already caught the attention of the giant phone maker.

In fact, the Samsung Community moderator in its Europe-based forum has already acknowledged that there is indeed an issue with the GPS function of some Galaxy S22 phones.

On top of that, the Samsung Community moderator also said that the South Korean tech behemoth is already preparing a software fix, which should remove the current issue with its GPS feature.

However, Samsung has yet to provide when it is rolling out. The moderator added in the forum post that "we've not been given a timescale for that other than "soon."

The post further asks users to "keep a lookout for upcoming software updates."
