Where to Buy the 75-inch M7-Series TV at Discounted Price

Both of the TVs being sold by Vizio at the new discounted prices can be bought on Amazon and Walmart.

For the 75-inch TV, however, the article by The Verge points towards Amazon with no available link for Walmart.

The article by The Verge describes this particular deal as "an excellent value" for both units. When tackling the first unit, the publication mentions some of its features.

These features include HDMI 2.1, support for Dolby Vision, AMD FreeSync compatibility, HDR10+.

Both TVs are Only 60Hz and Not 120Hz in Terms of Refresh Rate

One feature, however, that might not be too favorable for buyers is the fact that the 55-inch TV only has a refresh rate of 60Hz. Although not a 120Hz screen, the article notes that this could be good enough for gamers that are "looking for a panel with excellent visual fidelity and a smooth image."

This, however, also depends on the gamers since most of them, especially FPS gamers, might still opt for a 120Hz screen if given the change to improve their gameplay. Although the difference might not be too noticeable to everyone, some gamers might still tell the difference.

Picking Between a Better Screen with Higher Refresh Rates or a GPU

As for other games that do not need extremely sharp refresh rates, the 60Hz screen might be good enough especially due to the fact that it is a 55-inch screen. This, however, does not necessarily correlate to better gameplay.

When it comes to games, refresh rate, although important, is not as important as either the computer or the console's graphics card. When picking out a screen with a higher refresh rate or a graphics card, the GPU could be more important when game performance is being considered.

With scalper prices for GPUs making them less affordable, however, one way to improve the overall gaming experience is by getting a better TV or screen.
