"Marvel's Avengers" is bringing one of the most famous skins of the comic book hero Spider-Man to the game, and it is with the Iron Spider outfit, first seen on 2018's "Avengers: Infinity War." Another Marvel Cinematic Universe costume is making its way on the game, and it will join the legendary lineup of the game that relives the mighty Avengers.
'Marvel's Avengers': Iron Spider is Coming as a Spider-Man Skin
"Marvel's Avengers's" official Twitter account announced the arrival of the Iron Spider skin from "Avengers: Infinity War," coming to the title for fans to use. Spider-Man is only available via the PlayStation 4 and 5 console, and the skin is only coming to the said Sony devices for their use and enjoyment.
Spider-Man's Iron Spider costume is an iconic suit from Tony Stark, initially debuting in the Civil War story arc, bringing the character more power to fight against villains as his identity got exposed.
However, in "Infinity War," the character used it when he went to the flying donut that makes its way to Titan, joining the Avengers founding members Tony Stark and Doctor Stephen Strange.
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame in the Game
Crystal Dynamics' game captured different outfits from famous MCU films to the game, bringing their on-screen looks for the video game. Before 2021 ended, it had already debuted skins from "Avengers: Endgame" mostly, bringing the Mark 85 suit of Iron Man, Thor's Outfit (without Storm Breaker), and Captain America's Endgame suit.
Now, it is bringing the famous Spidey suit for everyone to enjoy and use against the opponents in-game.
Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix's 'Avengers'
Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix debuted the "Marvel's Avengers" game in 2021, and it primarily focused on the MCU Avengers lineup to bring the heroes to the game. However, it centered on the new Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, and her upbringing as a hero in the game, focusing on the era where sinister beings defeated the Avengers.
The game received multiple mixed reviews from its fans and critics, with Square Enix outright saying that the title is disappointing for them. Nevertheless, it brings an experience that fuels the interests and fandom of the Marvel comic world, primarily as it centers on the top names, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow.
Those mentioned above are the original six in the MCU.
Spider-Man is only an addition to the "Marvel's Avengers" game, but he is a crowd favorite as the game lets them swing around the map with the heroes' webs and crawl surfaces. They will get an extra set of mechanical arms that add more fighting lethality to the webhead, bringing his Infinity War, Endgame, and No Way Home skin to the title.
