Apple's macOS 12.3 is here for the public to use, and there is more to what the system aims to bring than what is known, especially with two new key features like the Universal Control and Spatial Audio. These features are coming for the Mac computers, and it is something that will help in the massive integration of the device to other Apple gadgets and the Music app.
Apple's macOS 12.3 Arrives for Public Use: Update Available
Apple announced via its Twitter Support account that the macOS 12.3 is here to bring two new critical features for the Mac computers, and it is with the Universal Control and the Spatial Audio. The focus of this new release is the integration of new systems for the computer, effectively giving the iPad the ability to perform Mac processes and the Music to have the top audio feature.
Apple's Universal Control for the Mac
Universal Control needs an iPad tablet to work on the Mac, and it requires having the latest operating system versions with the iPadOS 15.4 and the latest macOS 12.3. Initially, Apple introduced this feature via the beta of iOS and the macOS, bringing the feature for users to connect the tablet as a second workspace for the computer.
Now, it is a confirmed release from Apple. It aims to integrate the iPad devices to the Mac computers, foregoing the need for a separate monitor for applicable processes and available applications.
Apple's Universal Control allows users to extend its workplace wirelessly, giving them a more hands-on experience with the tablet to connect to the computer. The seamless connection of both features offers a more streamlined work experience that would work best with designers and graphics, especially with editing their work.
The feature will also help avoid the need for a trackpad or the external Magic Trackpad.
Spatial Audio for Mac: Better Music?
Less than a year ago, Apple introduced the Spatial Audio for its Music feature, mainly focusing on the iPhone and iPad devices, paired with its wireless audio accessories. The new music feature will help users feel more of the musical experience of the songs available in their Apple Music app and iTunes library.
The feature brought a different music experience for users with the iPhone devices, paired with the AirPods for the best integration, says Apple. The AirPods Pro and AirPods Max are two of the company's absolute noise-canceling devices that work best with Spatial Audio from the Apple Music app.
However, it is something that the Mac will answer with its speaker systems mounted on the side of its keyboards, outputting a sound quality that it boasts for with its features. The high fidelity speakers of Apple's Mac devices focus on bringing the Spatial Audio, and it will also work with the integration of the said wireless audio apparatus from the Cupertino giant.
