According to Windows Latest, the tech titan has announced on Thursday, March 3, that it would be releasing the "Version 22H2" for Windows 11. It was mentioned in the report that it was the "tentative" name for this update which also hints at its finalization.

As of press time, the company has not yet explained if it would stick to the given codename for the next major Windows update.

While it appears that it might be the public name version that Microsoft will use, 22H2 has been involved in numerous leaks in the past.

So far, we only know that this version will put its focus on bringing important fixes to the Windows 11 interface. As such, it would cover some OS areas including taskbar desktop, Control Center, Windows Settings, and other native apps as well.

In addition, the 22H2 update for the new Windows is expected to revert some previously removed features including the drag-and-drop support feature for the taskbar. A new Task Manager could also be introduced to Windows 11 soon.

They could enter the Dev Channel for developers and other technical individuals. Furthermore, this would allow them to run a series of tests for the Sun Valley builds and the new Windows 11.

Most importantly, the updates for this Beta Channel are focused on experimenting with trials for fixing bugs.

Before its official launch, Microsoft will publish Windows 11 22H2 in the Release Preview Channel. This area is used for the build-testing process for production.

However, people could fully install the software before without the need of logging in to the account.
