Apple metaverse contact lens is now allegedly under development. Rumors even claimed that once it arrives in 2030, it could replace the current iPhone smartphones.
On the other hand, they added that the new contact lens will use the combination of iPhone and Apple Glass technologies.
However, this will still depend on whether the giant tech manufacturer actually release the long-rumored Apple Glass.
Apple Metaverse Lens To Arrive?
According to The Daily Star's latest report, it will work just like how iPhone works. This means that users can use the new wearable device to make calls, browse the internet, and play online games.

When it comes to the system, speculations stated that the new Apple metaverse contact lens will feature the so-called realityOS, which will allow consumers to see the virtual reality world of Apple.
It could also be cheaper compared to the latest iPhone 13 and other upcoming smartphones since the lens is expected to range between $130 to $400.
Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable Apple critics, already mentioned the arrival of the advanced Apple metaverse contact lens, saying that it will move electronics towards "invisible computing."
Apple Metaverse Contact Lens Will Still Be Dependent
Kuo recently claimed that the new Apple metaverse contact lens will not actually be independent. Instead, it will likely rely on another device or a 5G connection for processing.
If this is true, then the new wearable device of the tech giant manufacturer will not have its own computing power. Aside from the metaverse contact lens, the giant iPhone maker is also expected to release its in-house VR/AR headset.
Apple Insider reported that it will have a premium head-mounted display, making it bulkier compared to the alleged metaverse contact lens.
But, this device is also still unavailable since its launch date was delayed, possibly arriving around 2023.
In other news, YouTuber was able to modify the popular Apple M1 Mac Mini device. On the other hand, Apple's Tim Cook is now challenging innovators to change the world using their technologies.
