Huawei Spring 2022 Smart Office Live Event: Where to Watch and What to Expect

The Mobile World Congress 2022 or MWC 2022 in Barcelona runs from Feb. 28 to Mar. 3. All of the major tech companies worldwide have joined the event, including the Chinese multinational technology corporation Huawei.

Huawei Spring 2022 Smart Office Live Event

Huawei announced a new product launch event as part of MWC 2022. The Huawei Spring 2022 Event is scheduled for Feb. 27 at 9:30 P.M. Beijing Time. You can now watch the product launch event via livestream on YouTube.

The poster slogan "Super Device, Super Creativity" gives the public a hint of what to expect. People who will tune in to the livestream will be able to witness office-related product announcements like laptops, tablets, and monitors.

Most of these devices are likely to be interconnected, probably through Huawei's Device+. The Device+ is a feature that will show you nearby Huawei devices, like MediaBook laptops, MediaPad tablets, Vision TVs, and Freebuds, according to GSMArena.

With this feature, users can let the devices interact easier and faster, just like Apple's AirPlay operates. It also offers a unified control panel to manage all connections and send audio and images to any connected Huawei devices.

Huawei's updated Harmoney OS is also rumored to be introduced at the event.

As for the hardware, Huawei's MatePad 10.4.2022 is currently making its certification rounds. Its rumored specs include a 10.4-inch, 16:10, FullHD+ display, a 7,150 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 778G chipset, and Harmony OS.

Also, it is rumored that Huawei has a pair of unannounced smartphones too, which was recently spotted in the 3C certification database: NOH-AN50 and ABR-AL60.

These are said to be variants of the Huawei P50 and Huawei Mate 40. However, there is hardly any information on the pair, so it is possible that they won't be included at the event.

MWC 2022 Event

In the past few years, the major focus of the event has been on the transition to 5G and the emergence of foldable smartphones.

However, there is always space for a handful of non-smartphone announcements, whether new laptops or smartwatch updates.

In 2020, MWC was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the event was pushed through, but it did not receive much buzz, according to The Verge.

Now, the organizers are hopeful that the event will be a bit different, with major announcements expected for several tech giants. Samsung is expected to kick off the event's livestream.

The tech giant used MWC as a launch point for its smartphones. However, the company has launched its smartphones weeks in advance in the last few years. Since the Samsung Galaxy S22 is already in stores, fans may see the new Galaxy Book laptop instead.

Several laptops are expected to make an appearance at the event. Acer has revealed its new Swift 5 laptop with a 16:10 display, and people will likely see other new notebooks from tech companies like Lenovo.

People can also expect new smartphones from massive Chinese tech companies like TCL and Oppo, which revealed the new Find X5 Pro.
