The battle between Apple and Intel when it comes to the processor has become tighter over the past years. While Cupertino has established itself to be a more dominant competitor in the market than the latter, the Santa Clara-based company is planning to win back its position this time.
According to a recent report, there was a leaked roadmap that shows Intel's next-gen processor under the "Arrow Lake" series. This processor is rumored to be capable of beating Apple's advanced chips in the future.
Intel Arrow Lake Spotted in Leaked Roadmap
In a recent article from Tech Radar, it appears that Intel is planning to win back its position in the market by beating Apple's top-notch M1 chip. So far, the Cupertino titan seems to be unfazed by the increasing numbers of its competitors in the market.
However, the leaked roadmap might be one step away from telling that Intel has a hidden arsenal against Apple. The 15th-generation Intel CPU dubbed "Arrow Lake" could be the key to beating the tech titan in any way when it comes to performance benchmarks.
Moreover, the report included that the Intel Arrow Lake CPU will borrow inspirations from Skymont and Lion Cove. This is what the company wants to achieve in the context of developing its efficiency cores and performance.
To add, the word "TSMC N3" was mentioned in the roadmap. Either way, it could mean that the upcoming powerful chip will be utilizing the N3 process node from the Taiwanese semiconductor firm.
In particular, the leaked CPU could rely on the 6+8 configurations for a revamped change in its capability. Since we mention this part, Intel might be close to revealing a high-end CPU that can handle heavy tasks without using a lot of power.
Like the 14th Gen Chip, the core count for the leaked "Arrow Lake" CPU will be the same. Moreso, the report also added that it will allegedly utilize up to 320 graphics execution units which would boost the laptop's performance.

In the same report by the tech site, we could see that Intel has an upper hand here due to the fact that its chip has 14 cores. On the other hand, Apple's M1 chip only has 10 cores.
Regarding the release of laptops with the 15th gen chips, the roadmap revealed that it could take place in 2024.
Too Late For Intel to Beat Apple
About this issue, 9to5Mac wrote that Intel has a chance to beat Apple in any way, but it's quite too late at the moment.
At the same time, the iPhone maker is expected to unveil its third-gen Apple Silicon Chip which will be used for Macs. The tech publication anticipated that this could be more powerful than the current M1 and even the upcoming Intel chip.
Meanwhile, it was mentioned during CES 2022 that Intel's 12th gen processor is faster than Apple's M1 Max, per Tech Times.
