Walmart PS5 and Xbox Restock on Feb. 24
According to a report by Tom's Guide, the retail giant officially confirmed that it would be releasing supplies for both PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles on Thursday, Feb. 24.
Specifically, you can start checking out your order at 12 PM ET. If you have some past experience with Walmart, you know how fast it sells consoles whenever there are restocking events.
Apparently, you need to be watchful for the availability of the consoles since the exclusive drops are expected to only last for an hour at the very least. If you miss the first wave of the stocks, you might want to wait for an inventory refresh which will take place every 10 minutes.
Indeed, this piece of the announcement was not a rumor anymore since Walmart officially announced this news.
Over the past few days, we have seen that the retailer took note of the changes in the schedule of the restock. This was further confirmed by Matt Swider who is a reliable console tracker on Twitter.
It's important to know that this Walmart-exclusive restock will only allow those who subscripted to Walmart Plus. You can avail of this service which will cost you $98 per year.
Of course, its monthly counterpart has some hidden charges if you will notice. It's a bit pricier at $12.95 if you are considering this annually.
For new Walmart visitors, there's a free trial that you can use for this premium subscription. However, the only time that you can gain access to buy consoles during restocking is when you pay for this service.
