LG confirms its new 48-inch OLED gaming monitor, under the UltraGear series, is releasing this summer, according to an industry insider.
LG's NEW 48-Inch OLED Gaming Monitor
As per a news story by Notebook Check, Steve May, an industry insider, claimed that LG has already confirmed that it is releasing a new gaming monitor under its UltraGear series.
It is worth noting that the South Korean display maker, LG, has recently debuted an UltraGear gaming monitor, which goes by the name 32GQ950. The latest display from its gamer's series is 32-inches, as its name clearly suggests.
On top of that, it also comes with an ultra-fast and buttery smooth 160 Hz refresh rate that gamers would surely enjoy with their high graphics games.
However, it turns out that LG is planning to offer its consumers more gaming displays, and it's coming in a few months.
LG 48-Inch Gaming Monitor: What to Expect
Steve May said in a tweet that "LG has just confirmed a 48-inch OLED gaming monitor, with Ultra gear branding."
May went on to disclose that the new OLED gaming display is bringing some notable features this summer, such as its DisplayPort and HDMI v2.1 support.
Not to mention that the next-generation UtlraGear series gaming monitor is also reportedly sporting an anti-reflective screen.
Notebook Check said in the same report that the upcoming 48-inch monitor of the South Korea-based tech giant is unlike any other display with the same massive dimension.
It comes as the upcoming 48-inch LG monitor is under its high-performance gaming series, the UltraGear.
According to a report by Digital Trends, what's most notable about the upcoming UltraGear monitor is its massive size of up to 48 inches, which is larger if not as big as most TVs nowadays.

LG UltraGear
LG says that its UltraGear monitors are its range of the most powerful gaming display under its standards, giving gamers a more immersive overall experience.
Although the display maker has yet to unveil the technical specifications of its upcoming 48-inch display, consumers should expect to flaunt a high resolution and a fast refresh rate. Similar to existing UltraGear gaming monitors out there.
Nevertheless, May further revealed that the UltraGear logo on the upcoming 48-inch gaming display would only be placed on its rear, making it less obtrusive.
