It comes after the social network app of former POTUS Trump launched on the Apple App Store for iPhone's iOS users.

Meanwhile, supporters of the former president have yet to get their version of the app on the Google Play Store of Android devices.

As per a news story by Business Insider, an Android app, which carries the name "MAGA Hub - Truth Social Trump" is now filling the void for the absence of the official social network on the Google mobile operating system.

The news outlet added that the MAGA Hub is now the top result when searching for Truth Social on Google Play Store.

In turn, being the top result with hundreds of thousands of downloads, some Trump supporters have been lured in to download the app, expecting that it was merely the Android version of the official app of the former POTUS.

MAGA Hub - Truth Social Trump App

According to a recent report by Gizmodo, the MAGA Hub - Truth Social Trump was first listed on Google Play Store, the official app marketplace of Android, way back in August 2021.

Gizmodo noted that during that time, the former US chief executive has yet to announce that he is naming his own social networking site as "Truth."

Despite sitting on the Play Store for a couple of months already, Insider reported that the massive rise of downloads only took place on Feb. 8, which is shortly before Truth Social was released on Apple in a beta version.

Meanwhile, some supporters of the former president complained about the app on the review section of the Play Store for confusing it with the social media network of Trump.

One user said: "Thought this was Trump's new social site." But the users realized that "it is not," noting that there were "ads everywhere and possible malware. Plus you can't delete the profile. Can't delete the post unless one by one."

But some appear to have believed that the app is legit with one saying that "so far I was able to use it for 5 minutes then nothing. Hopefully, it's fixed doom as I paid for premium."

It is worth noting that the premium version of the MAGA Hub sells to the tune of $28.99.

Another review stated that "I would really appreciate it Trump if you could make the video lengths much longer as I want to use my profile to be of service."
