The issue started when the defense vessel used a laser, pointing it at a Boeing P-8A Poseidon surveillance aircraft.

ADF said that the illumination of a laser at a jet could lead to a serious accident. Because of this, Australia accused China of an unprovoked act of intimidation.

The Australian Defense Force explained that lasers could cause blindness to anyone if it is directly pointed at them. It added that this negative activity could also disrupt the navigation systems, which are critical to air safety.

Why Lasers Can Harm Jets, Other Aircraft

Many individuals were amazed. However, the majority of the TikTok users said that the man could be arrested if authorities saw him.

LaserPointer Safety explained that if a laser beam hits the plane's windscreen, the light illuminated will easily spread. This can block the view of the pilot.

If ever you have a powerful laser at home, the best thing you can do is point it anywhere but the sky.
