Drake made more than $1 million worth of Bitcoin after his hefty bet on the Super Bowl Rams vs. Bengal game last Feb. 11, wherein he went all in.
As per a news story by Bloomberg, the Canadian rapper Drake placed a hefty bet, in the flesh of the top cryptocurrency Bitcoin, for one of the most sought-after sports battles of the year, the Super Bowl Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams.
Drake's Bitcoin Super Bowl Rams vs. Bengals Bet
His biggest single bet on the Super Bowl game was a staggering $471,000, which he placed on Rams win over Bengals.
On top of that, the Canadian rapper also specifically placed two bets on another Bitcoin fan, who is also a Rams superstar, Odell Beckham Jr, which is to the tune of $393,000 in Bitcoin each bet.
Drake's bet showed that he is anticipating the Rams superstar to go "over 0.5 anytime touchdown," along with a 62.5 receiving yards.
Now, according to a recent report by Bitcoin Magazine, the total winnings of the hit musician should have been to the tune of a whopping $2.27 million worth of crypto, if he won all of his three bets.
It comes after the Rams won against the Bengals in the Super Bowl game, which gave him a total of $711,000 in the payout.
On top of that, Drake also won $844,000 after Beckham scored in the first quarter. However, the Rams superstar figured in a knee injury, failing to help the rapper win his second bet.
Drake Makes Over $1 Million in Bitcoin
That said, the rapper still got home more than $1.5 million richer after betting $1.26 million worth of Bitcoin in the Super Bowl game.
In total, the series of bets of Drake went up to a whopping $1.5 million worth of Bitcoin.
It is worth noting that Beckham himself is also a fan of cryptocurrencies. In fact, the Rams superstar previously accepted his salary in Bitcoin.

However, it is not the first instance that an NFL star got his earnings in crypto. Previously, Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers also got his salary in the form of Bitcoin.
Elsewhere, about 90% of the total Bitcoin supply has been mined already.
