Samsung Galaxy S22 vs. iPhone 13 benchmark results are out, and Apple's flagship smartphone from 2021 still reigns supreme in terms of its speed by a significant leap.

Samsung has recently launched its whole Galaxy S22 lineup, including the entry-level Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S22 Ultra, during its Galaxy Unpacked event last Feb. 9.
The pre-orders of the new Samsung flagship series opened on the same day of its debut, as per a recent report by iPhone in Canada.
Meanwhile, according to a news story by MacRumors, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series comes with two chipsets, depending on where the phones are being sold.
To be more precise, in the United States, Samsung fans are getting the latest flagship featuring Qualcomm's new processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is expected to flood the latest Android phones this 2022.
However, those living in Europe are getting Samsung's very own chip, the Exynos 2200, which is not far from the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
On the other hand, Apple's flagship smartphone from 2021 is none other than the iPhone 13, which boasts the latest A15 Bionic chip.

It is worth noting that although the Galaxy S22 is one of the most powerful Android smartphones, the iPhone 13 still competes impressively with Samsung's latest flagship.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is touted to be the top-of-the-line model from the series with maxed-out specs, got a 3,433 score from the multi-core test, according to the test by PCMag.
Meanwhile, its single-core performance is booked as a score of 1,232, whereas the Machine Learning Score of the new Samsung phone is at 448.
On the flip side, its Apple counterpart, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, previously got a record-breaking multi-core score of 4,647.
The single-core score of the iPhone 13 is at 1,735, while its Machine Learning performance garnered a high score of 948.
As such, the Machine Learning score of the Galaxy S22 is nearly half of iPhone 13's performance.
As for the single-core performance, the iPhone 13 still outperforms the S22 Ultra by a significant percentage of up to 40.8% more. Meanwhile, when it comes to the multi-core score, the Apple phone still overtakes Samsung by 34.7%.

Samsung Galaxy S22 vs. S21
However, it is worth noting that the latest flagship of Samsung slightly outperformed its predecessor.
It booked an impressive 13% increase from the single-core scores of the Snapdragon 888, whereas the multi-core score gained by 9%.
