It is worth noting that web browsers typically list down the search history of their users in chronological order without categorizing it into the topics that it belongs to.

However, Google all of sudden decided to take the search history of Chrome to the next level by introducing "Journeys," as per a news story by The Sun.

The new Journeys feature on Chrome helps its users look back on what they have been searching for through the years without scrolling to a long chronological list.

Browsing your previous searches now comes with an option that narrows down your entire history into various topics.

On top of that, if ever you search for a single topic from your search history, it will provide other relevant queries that you might also find helpful.

Google Chrome Journeys: How to Get

According to a report by 9to5Google, Chrome has been testing the "Journeys" feature as an experimental function on Chrome Canary on desktop since last Oct. 1, 2021.

On Feb. 10, Google is already rolling out its latest tool for Chrome on the stable version of the web browser.

If ever Journeys is still nowhere to be found on your Chrome, it should be there in the next few days or weeks. The tech giant says that it is already rolling out the new feature. So, expect it to reach your web browser soon.

  • After which, go to Help.
  • Then, select About Google Chrome.

How to Use Google Chrome Journeys

Without any further ado, here's how to use Chrome's new Journeys feature:

  • Open Chrome on your desktop.
  • Go to the setting menu from the upper right corner.
  • Then, go to the History section.
  • Next, click "History."
  • After which, go to "All history."
  • Then, select the "Journeys" tab.

From there, you may now search for various topics and a "related" search history should show up.
