Microsoft confirms more Blizzard Activision gaming titles are releasing on its rivals gaming consoles, including the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, which will be beyond the existing agreements.
Microsoft's purchase of the massive game publisher, Blizzard Activision, is on its way to the tune of $68.7 billion.

As such, some folks are wondering, will its sought-after gaming titles, including "Call of Duty," "Candy Crush," and "Overwatch" end up being exclusively available on Microsoft's Xbox gaming console?
As per a report by IGN, the president and vice-chair of Microsoft, the parent company of Xbox, Brad Smith, answered the concerns of users of competing gaming consoles.
In a blog post, the Microsoft exec specifically confirmed that "Call of Duty and other popular Activision Blizzard titles" will not only be released on the PlayStation platform, such as PS4 and PS5, under the current agreement.
Instead, these games will be released on Sony's consoles beyond the existing contract.
Smith said that Microsoft has already committed with Sony that all of these massive gaming titles of Activision Blizzard will remain to be part of PlayStation "into the future."
Previously, the Xbox boss, Phil Spencer, himself has already dispelled rumors that the "Call of Duty" franchise is leaving PlayStation due to the looming takeover of Microsoft. The exec said that "COD" games like "Black Ops Cold War," "Warzone," and "Vanguard" will remain on Sony consoles.
More Activision Blizzard Games on Nintendo Switch?
On top of that, the Microsoft blog post further laid out that they are considering bringing more Activision Blizzard games to the Nintendo Switch.
However, it is to note that Smith did not commit to this, unlike his pronouncements regarding Sony's PlayStation.
According to a report by Nintendo Enthusiast, the massive games of Blizzard Activision are not widely available on the Nintendo Switch. In fact, both "Overwatch" and "Call of Duty" are not available on the hybrid console.
The latest words of the Microsoft president said that "we are also interested in taking similar steps to support Nintendo's successful platform."
It is worth noting that the Nintendo Switch has recently made a massive milestone on its own, surpassing the sales of the first Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Wii.
To be precise, the hybrid handheld console has now achieved the 100 million sales mark faster than any other gaming console out there.
