"Grand Theft Auto V," more popularly known as "GTA V," is coming soon on modern gaming consoles, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The news comes alongside the announcement of Rockstar Games that it is inactive development of a new game for the franchise, which fans speculated that it is the "GTA VI."

Rockstar Games released a community update earlier, and it talked about a new release from the company, and that is with the "Grand Theft Auto V" PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. Here, the game developers said that the native versions would work directly with the consoles and work seamlessly; it would not rely on the games' compatibility.

Of course, this only means that the new "GTA V" version will feature 4K video quality and 60 frames per second (FPS) gameplay.

Rockstar said it would also feature other console or platform-specific add-on functions, like more advanced haptic feedback, 3D audio integration, and a faster loading time for the title.

A migration launch is coming to transfer game data from the PS4 and Xbox One to the new consoles. Additionally, PS5 players will have three months of free "GTA V" on their platform.

"GTA's" Rockstar Games finally done it, as it announced a new game from the franchise under development now for a release some time in the future. Yes, that is "Grand Theft Auto VI" that gamers speculated from Rockstar's announcement, remaining an untitled project for the company.

Nevertheless, it is still in early development and will not come for 2023.

'GTA VI' is Coming Soon, But When?

"Grand Theft Auto VI" is one of the top speculated games in the industry now, and it is because fans have waited for the game for more than nine years since its last 2013 release. The game became stagnant for a long time, with many gamers thinking it faced cancelation from Rockstar Games as it has been almost a decade for its sequel absence.

Before this, several leaks and rumors surrounded the game, focusing on a new perspective coming from a female lead in the famous single-player story mode of the game. Nothing regarding the new game got confirmation from Rockstar Games despite almost admitting that there is a new game to the popular game franchise.

Rockstar did not yet confirm any dates for the untitled game.

Nevertheless, people would have to settle for "GTA V's" arrival to the PS5 and Xbox Series X, finally having a native version appearing on the modern gaming consoles. Both the "GTA Online" and "GTA V" are coming to the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

Gone are the days when gamers have to port or run backwards compatibility from the PS4 or Xbox One versions for the title to work.
