Zach Alan Collier is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of generating millions through acquisitions, partnerships, and startups. However, his success wasn't always the result of M&A in general; instead, he has grown chiefly organically with his first two firms.
Collier is currently working in a business that has over half of its operations through acquisitions. This young entrepreneur has had the pleasure of dealing with many fantastic clients nationwide. Let's ask him a couple of questions.
What are some of the qualities that have contributed to Zach A. Collier's success as an entrepreneur?
Some of the qualities that contributed to my success are knowing what I want and focusing on achieving goals. My experience and depth of knowledge have made me a vital asset in the field. Now, I have completed over 15 acquisitions in the industry. The third firm I'm presently involved with has a projected growth rate exceeding both of my prior enterprises.
What do you think has driven organic growth while growing through acquisitions?
I'm not sure if I can answer this question, but what I can tell you is that we've got a dedicated executive team that oversees the day-to-day operations and runs things while I'm out looking for potential acquisitions. This is something that has been important to me since day one, and of course, a vital part of organic growth.
There are many benefits of empowering your team with the tools they need to succeed. We believe that everyone understands why their role is essential and how it can impact company success. We create reports and dashboards that give team members complete access to the outcomes they're producing, rather than day-to-day management, and strive to empower them through coaching to success.
How do you tackle underperforming business models?
This success is due to our executive team that comes in and creates a focused product. The company's corporate support teams are able to reduce non-revenue generating distractions while still maintaining quality services by building better relationships within each industry vertical so success could be proven in those spaces thanks to our industry knowledge - ultimately leading us towards greater goals' achievements.
How does Zach A. Collier define success?
I have hit personal success out of helping companies and individuals achieve their goals. I have seen the successes of those around me who have been a part of my journey, and that's what makes me feel like I'm successful each day.
