Lazada's Latest Winner
The Lazada 11.11 is a multibillion-dollar global online sales event that happened on Nov. 11. The e-commerce firms organize contests to entice shoppers to use their platforms, according to StraitTimes.
In October, Lazada announced that it would give a condominium unit to one lucky winner, co-sponsored by Propnex, a real estate agency in Singapore.
To participate in the draw, shoppers had to collect golden keys by completing missions and by playing a game on the Lazada app called Lazzie Star.

Shoppers were asked to refer someone to download and play on the Lazzie Star. They were also asked to buy the PropNex edition of Monopoly in the Lazada store. The more keys that a shopper collected, the higher their chances were of winning the grand prize.
Chow, who sold fish noodle soup for three decades, said that he won five golden keys after he was introduced by his daughter to the game, according to Geek Culture.
Chow said he was surprised to find out that he had won the grand prize. He said that what happened did not fully sink in yet. At first, it was a scam when the Lazada team surprised him with the news.
Chow added that he began shopping on Lazada in 2017 and had purchased more daily necessities online since the pandemic started when seniors were encouraged to stay at home.
The chief executive of Lazada Singapore, Loh Wee Lee, said their focus was to support their sellers through the challenging year, and they are happy to see both their sellers and shoppers rewarded.
Lee added that this year's 11.11 achieved record-breaking sales, and they are happy to showcase the possibilities that e-commerce brings in changing lives.
Lazada 11.11 Promo
Lazada Singapore went all out with the shopping festival this year as this is the first time that the e-commerce company gave away a one-bedroom condominium unit at Normanton Park, according to Mothership Singapore.
Normanton Park is an upcoming residential area located next to Kent Ridge Park and is currently valued at $1 million.
Lazada rolled out the marketing campaign across different platforms like digital ads, TV, radio, social media, OOH activations, and more to generate excitement for the giveaway.
Ismail Gafoor, the CEO of PropNex Realty, said that the game is specially curated with Singapore real estate rules, and the winner is declared with in-depth knowledge of real estate investment.
This partnership is part of their branding campaign in building their brand equity, and they are thrilled to be a part of this mega event.
Lazada Singapore's CEO James Change said that the e-commerce company wants to add something exciting for their loyal shoppers to have something to look forward to.
Change added that their key focus to support their sellers to thrive in the online space has never wavered, and to thank the shoppers for supporting the company, they went and looked for the biggest reward they could find in the market.
Lazada's former rival, Alibaba, had invested $1 Billion to the company and is now its biggest shareholder, allowing the e-commerce giant to hold shopping festivities.
Last year, Lazada suffered a data breach that affected more than a million users. Despite this, its users and sellers doubled in late 2020 and early 2021.
