"League of Legends" 2022 Preseason is just around the corner. This new update is expected to be launched after Season 11 ends, which is set this coming Nov. 15.
But, before the 2022 Preseason arrives, Jeremy "Brightmoon" Lee, the current director of "League of Legends" Dev Team, already confirmed that Riot Games would add new items, as well as runes, in the upcoming version of Summoner's Rift.
These specifically include new tank, assassin, and mage items. Thanks to the new in-game content, players across the globe could have a more enjoyable gaming experience. Recently, Riot Games also confirmed that there would be new dragon buffs that would change how the Summoner's Rift works.
The new Hextech and Chemtech dragons. These new enhancements just show that Riot Games is completely focusing on making the Summoner's Rift more challenging.
'League of Legends' 2022 New Items
According to Dot Esports, there would be more than five new items in the Summoner's Rift once Season 12 kicks off. Here are the exact weapons and their details:
Evenshroud (Offers +5 magic resist and armor to Legendary items. Increases damage taken by an enemy)
- 200 Health
- 30 Armor
- 30 Magic Resist
- 20 Ability Haste
Winter's Approach (Offers bonus health equal to 8% mana. Consumes a charge, as well as three bonus mana when triking an enemy)
- 500 Mana
- 15 Ability Haste
- 400 Health
Fimbulwinter (Heroes receive bonus health equal to 8% of their mana. Immobilizes or slows enemy. You will also receive a shield, which increases 80% when an enemy is nearby)
860 Mana
- 15 Ability Haste
- 400 Health
Crown of the Shattered Queen (Reduces the incoming damage by 50%. While Safeguarded, gain 10 to 40 Ability Power)
- 70 Ability Power
- 600 Mana
- 20 Ability Haste
- 250 Health
Remaining items:
- Shadowflame
- Axiom Arc
Adjusted items:
- Turbo Chemtank
- Cosmic Drive
- Knight's Vow
- Seraph's Embrace
- Demonic Embrace
- Horizon Focus
- Frostfire Gauntlet
Aside from these, you can also expect new champions once the new "League of Legends" 2022 Preseason arrives. As of the moment, the latest hero is the "League of Legends" Patch 11.19's Vex.
'League of Legends' 2022's New Runes
The mentioned items above are quite intriguing to use. However, Riot Games also made sure that your runes would have new updates. This is quite important since runes allow players to have great advantages over their opponents in the early stages of the game.
But, this would still depend if your runes are customized to counter your current enemies. Riot Games announced that the Lethal Tempo, as well as Glacial Augment, would be revamped, as reported by Screen Rant.
On the other hand, there would also be the new First Strike runes, which offer additional gold based on the damage dealt by your hero.
