September has also been the month wherein CryptoPunks and Bored Apes NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, have broken their all-time high price records.

NFT Price Performance

But if we are going to look at it from the past six months, NFTs have strikingly entered the mainstream market with the emergence of artwork collections and games in the blockchain, such as "Axie Infinity" and CryptoPunks.

Not to mention that the NFT sales in August accounted for a whopping $900 million due to the success of the hottest rage in blockchain today.

To be precise, the July 18 to Aug. 18 data of NFT sales was at the tune of $897 million, which is the highest ever in the span of mere 30 days.

Top NFT Collections

To cut to the chase, here are the top NFT collections that have been producing breathtaking price performance for the past six months.

CryptoPunk NFT

As per Action Network, CryptoPunks have been booking impressive prices since last August with profits ranging from $30,000 to $40,000 for every six hours, making a single day of flipping worth $100 million.

Back in April, CryptoPunk only boasted a price floor of $34,700.

But this month, it is already at a cool $266,168 or at 80 ETH, despite losing value by 50% last Sept. 14, according to CoinTelegraph.

That said, the price floor performance of CryptoPunk has increased by 767% in just six months.

Bored Ape NFT

Meanwhile, Bored Ape NFTs might be a new player in the blockchain, which launched last April 23, but it is still one of the top-performing collections in terms of a price floor.

Back during its launch, Bored Ape NFTs only cost $500 each, but its individual price today has ballooned to the tune of $2.9 million.

TheBlockCrypto noted that the current floor price of the Bored Ape in the open market is half the price of CryptoPunk, or at $160,000 to be precise.

As such, the price floor increase of the Bored Ape NFTs is at a 312.5% increase.

It is worth noting that the Bored Ape Youth Club collection has been a popular choice for NFT buyers second to CryptoPunk. It has even attracted Stephen Curry to his own at a price tag of $180,000.

Vee Friends NFT

Gary Vee's own take on NFTs called Vee Friends is a cartoon drawing that launched way back in May.

Its price floor last June, a month after it launched, was only at $2,280. Now, it is already at $61,000.
