The nominees for this year's 35th annual Razzie Awards are finally here, and it's no surprise that films like Transformers: Age of Extinction and Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas are each nominated. Multiple times.
For those unfamiliar with the Razzie's, it's a satirical Internet award that looks to highlight the worst achievements in cinema over the past year. Like every year, the Razzie's nominees are announced the day before the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces its picks for some of the best film achievements of the year. Rest assured, Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas will not be among them.
In fact, Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas is nominated in six different Razzie categories, second only behind Transformers: Age of Extinction and tied with The Legend of Hercules. Also appearing multiple times on the list are films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and A Million Ways To Die In the West.
New this year is the introduction of the "Razzie Redeemer Award," which acknowledges that past nominees and winners can rise above their Razzie past and go on to accomplish bigger and better things. Up for the award this year are Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston and Kristen Stewart.
Who will "win?" It will be a tough battle to be sure. We will know who ranked worst among the worst come February, when the winners are announced just prior to the Oscars. You can check out the full list of nominees below.
