Verizon has a new offering for its new and existing subscribers. The streaming service, AMC+, will come for free with its 5G wireless plan in the company's attempt to entice more people.
AMC+ is the streaming service of the channel AMC, known for airing shows like "Mad Men" and "The Walking Dead." The streaming service will also include other series and films seen on the AMC network.
The promotion already began, and it will run until February 2022.
Verizon's Free AMC+ Bundle
Both new and existing Verizon customers are eligible for the bundle. If you've recently purchased a 5G phone with a device payment plan, you will get a year of AMC+ for free, according to CNET.
New customers who signed up for one of Verizon Fios' Mix & Match home internet plans are also eligible for the promotion. Also, the mobile company will give six months of AMC+ for free to those who availed of its Star Unlimited plan.

The Start Unlimited plan is considered the company's cheapest unlimited plan, but it included 4G data instead of 5G.
For the 5G service, you can sign up for Verizon's Unlimited plan, which costs a lot more but comes with a lot of perks.
After the promotion's end, subscribers will have to pay an additional $8.99 per month if they want to keep the streaming service going.
Verizon already offers other streaming services such as Discovery+ and Disney+ to all of its 5G subscribers. The streaming services are included with a variety of mobile plans.
The mobile company is going head to head with its competitors, AT&T and T-Mobile, as all three companies are working on getting more customers and using bundles to convince them to switch to 5G.
AT&T, for example, is giving away free HBO Max subscriptions to its customers. T-Mobile is offering a free Netflix subscription together with its unlimited data plans.
Frank Boulben, an executive of Verizon, stated that a big part of their strategy is adding more personalized subscriptions, according to Engadget.
As streaming services become the most popular distribution method of films and series content, replacing the cable, mobile companies may begin to bundle them with their services. Verizon is the first mobile company to come up with a bundled subscription plan, followed by AT&T and T-Mobile, a part of the 5G campaign.
Meanwhile, AMC Networks stated that it expects to garner 9 million paid streaming subscribers across its platforms by 2022, according to CNBC.
Samsung Galaxy Z Series Plan
The mobile company is also teaming up with Samsung to distribute the Galaxy Z series together with its 5G plan.
The Galaxy Z series phones are available for preorder from Verizon starting Aug. 12, and new subscribers will get $1,000 off on a new phone when they trade in old phones and sign up for a select Unlimited plan.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G are connected to the company's 5G Ultra-Wideband and 5G Nationwide network.
The 5G Ultra Wideband network is now available in 78 cities, while the 5G Nationwide service is available in more than 2,000 cities.
The phones will be widely available on Aug. 27, and subscribers can pick them up at any Verizon store.
