Ryzen 7 5700G is one of the new chipsets of the tech giant manufacturer. It is included in the latest Ryzen 5000G, which the tech creator considers the answer to solving the global chip shortage.
As of the moment, SoC (System On a Chip) shortage affects various industries. These include computers, electric cars, and other advanced technologies that rely on chipsets.
AMD's new 5000G Series integrates high-performing Zen 3 cores with Radeon Graphics into Accelerated Processing Unit or APU, an SoC package.
Various computer experts and other tech critics claimed that AMD 5000G APU is better than the current Ryzen 4000 APU since it doesn't rely on OEM-only features.
On the other hand, the giant computer chip creator announced that the new Ryzen 7 5700G will arrive on Aug. 8. However, this could still depend on the production efficiency of the tech giant manufacturer.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 5 5600G
PC World provided some of the advanced features that the new AMD Ryzen 7 5700G could offer. These include a boost clock of 4.6GHz and a base clock of 3.8GHz on a 65-watt TDP. On the other hand, this APU chip package could also offer 24 PCIe Gen 3 lanes and 20MB of cache.
Aside from these, AMD also decided to integrate 8-core, 16-thread, 8 CU's of Radeon graphics at 2GHz, and 7nm, into the new APU model. When it comes to pricing, this new SoC could cost around $400.
However, some reports claimed that AMD would sell it for $359. On the other hand, the new AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is also not a bad option for those looking for a cheaper model of the latest AMD Ryzen 5000G series.
This $259 AMD Ryzen chipset offers a boost clock of 4.4GHz and a base clock of 3.9GHz on a 65-watt TDP. On the other hand, it is also integrated with 7nm (Cezanne), 7 CU's of Radeon graphics at 1.9GHz, 6-core, and 12-thread.
Based on their features, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G model still offers better performance. But, you need to release more money if you want to have it.
