XP League has teamed up with Carolina Games Summit to host the North American Finals - the first major in-person eSports event this 2021.
The upcoming event, which will run from Aug. 7 to 8 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be the first North American Finals for the XP League. It'll be the fifth iteration of the esports event for the Carolina Games Summit.
Organizing, hosting, and running professional esports and gaming events since 2006, Carolina Games Summit will significantly increase its capacity for its downtown Raleigh debut, optimizing over 50,000 square feet of ballroom space between the Raleigh Convention Center and organizing, hosting, and running professional esports and gaming events and the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. The event will host more than 30 separate eSports tournaments across all genres - including fighting games, racing, sports games, first-person shooters (FPS), and multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games - all showcased on top-of-the-line gaming PCs and the latest consoles.
Meanwhile, XP League will send 32 of its top-performing teams across the United States and Canada to the North American Finals. These up-and-coming professional gamers, 224 of them aged between 8 to 15 years old, have been preparing for their invitational appearance, showcasing their skills and the future of esports gaming.
This upcoming NC event will be the first of its kind for children in this age bracket. Covering two intense gaming days, only one XP League North American Champion Team will rise above all others. Fans, spectators, and fellow gamers are all set for a unique experience.
