Chrome's new feature has been revealed by the tech giant Google.
The new feature makes it easier for web users to load tons of tabs all at once instead of having to load them individually. Let's say your online job requires you to open a couple of websites, the new feature allows users to open multiple tabs all at once and save them for later use.
Google Chrome 'Tab Groups' Feature
According to the story by XDA-developers, for those that have been dealing with dozens of different tabs every day, Chrome's tab groups feature is considered to be quite a lifesaver. It is generally a great way for users to reduce browser clutter by keeping everything neat and well-organized.
This would also allow users to easily access whatever multiple tabs they might need to access on Chrome every single time.
Introducing 'TabGroupsSave'
The new feature was spotted by a certain Reddit user u/Leoppeva64, and showed that the team is now working on improving the whole tab group experience said to be available on Chrome.
Just recently, it added to the Chromium Gerrit, suggesting that Chrome will allow users to save tab groups in the future.
The whole idea there is to be able to save both time and effort by no longer having to manually recreate the full tab group and thus save time on users' daily workflow. It noted that there will be a flag for the TabGroupsSave, which would then automatically save a tab group in the users' bookmarks bar.
Patch Bugs Still Being Fixed
The patch still includes a number of bugs that still have to be fixed.
The bug's description shows how the new option is expected to work. For example, the issue 122391 shows when users save tabs, they will be added in the Bubble UI that will show when users right-click the title of the tab group.
The description from yet another issue actually suggested that users can pin the tab groups that are "similar to extensions."
This, however, is still really all just a work in progress and there is still nothing that is currently finalized. Although the official feature from Google Chrome might not come right away, there is actually an extension that carries out this particular function.
Users can download Tabox in order to get somewhat similar results.

Google Drive Extension
The extension works by letting users save their open tabs and groups directly into a collection. Every single collection is capable of multiple tab groups. Users can also easily color-code their collection in order to get faster sorting and syncing throughout different devices through the use of Google Drive.
As for the official Google Chrome feature, users will have to wait until it has been announced by Google itself. The release date for this feature is still unknown.
