'Ghost of Tsushima' Leak: 'Ikishima' DLC Rumored to Arrive This Year As Mini-Sequel on PS4, PS5

"Ghost of Tsushima" developer Sucker Punch Productions could unveil a mini-sequel entitled "Ghost of Ikishima" this 2021, according to rumors.

The prominent leaker Nick, who goes under this nickname Shpeshal_Nick, has leaked several game-related contents previously.

The Xboxera co-founder believed that the standalone expansion of the Tsushima series will arrive with the same file size as "Spiderman: Miles Morales." He speculated that this upcoming sequel will be available to PS4 and PS5 platforms since Sony plans to launch the cross-platform feature for its future game releases.

Although there are no clear bases for the rumored sequel, the description of the game could hint that something is missing. The surge in the number of PS5 users has been observed since the start of the pandemic. As a part of the plan, Sony wants the community to enjoy small releases in the next console library.

The speculation points out that what Sucker Punch will do is the same as what Insomniac Games announced for the "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" video game.

The leak highlighted that its IP would belong to PS5, hence teasing that a new edition is coming soon, ComicBook reported.

While we assume that this mini-sequel could be incorporated in the cross-gen launch, the pool of PS4 users is still high at the moment. For those who do not want to buy a PS5 in a rush, this could now be your chance to play with your friends who have the old Sony console.

At the moment, there is a new movie under the "Ghost of Tsushima" IP. We know that there is also a "Legends" multiplayer mode that shares the same name as the game. This sign seems to be leading to a continuous collaboration of Sony and Sucker Punch.

We could potentially see the "Ghost of Ikishima" since we are aware that the game developer has produced sequels for "Infamous" and "Sly Cooper" before.

This leak is not the first one to discuss how the game will fare for the PS5 fans.

Earlier this year, there was an announcement to the LinkedIn profile of the game's cinematic director, It says there that they are developing the "Ghost of Tsushima game for Sony PS5."

The mysterious post disappeared minutes after it spread across social media. But before it was deleted, many users grabbed a screenshot of it.

'Ghost of Tsushima' Project is Happening Because of Job Listings

In another report by Gamesradar, the job listings in Sucker Punch could indicate that more projects will arrive for "Ghost of Tsushima." In particular, the company is seeking a creative writer for the narration of the game.

Some listings are looking for a combat designer of the video game.

You can view the listings here. The developers are still hiring competitive individuals who will take part in the possible production of "Ghost of Ikishima" for this year.
