Avid fanatics finally got the chance to take a look at the highly-anticipated sequel of "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" during the 2021 Nintendo Direct. However, most fans were left concerned because there was no news about the Nintendo Switch Pro.

There were plenty of speculations about Nintendo Switch Pro's announcement, and it seems bizarre for Nintendo not to say anything about it during the conference.

A new rumor started to surface in the Nintendo community -- the Switch Pro might release after "Breath of the Wild 2's" premiere.

History of Nintendo Switch Pro

The original Nintendo Switch dominated the market in 2017, together with "Breath of the Wild," while the Nintendo Switch Lite released in 2019 alongside "Link's Awakening" remake.

The previous models went hand-in-hand with newly released games, and Nintendo Switch Pro might follow its predecessors' footsteps.

Releasing Nintendo's most powerful console alongside the newest "Zelda" game would make sense.

ScreenRant reported that "Breath of the Wild 2" is confirmed to release sometime in 2022. Ideally, Nintendo would have the opportunity to release the game and the Nintendo Switch Pro on March 3, 2022, which is the fifth anniversary of both the Switch and the hit "Zelda" title.

It is still unclear whether Nintendo will announce the Pro later in 2021 or early in 2022.

Why Nintendo Switch Pro Should Launch with 'Breath of the Wild 2'

Nintendo launched the Nintendo Switch in 2017, which meant that millions of users have already purchased it until 2021.

It could only mean that users are still pretty much enjoying their consoles until now. The company has to give fans a great reason to purchase its latest console at a higher price tag, and the best way would be to pair it with a much-awaited game -- "Breath of the Wild 2".

ScreenRant even mentioned that Nintendo could take things further by offering special edition Breath of the Wild 2-themed Nintendo Switch Pros.

In the gaming world, it is not new to have a console release with a game. The market has seen Sony do it with Marvel's "Spider-Man: Miles Morales," together with the new PS5.

Polygon stated that if Nintendo is going to release Nintendo Switch Pro with the "Breath of the Wild 2," fans would have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the console.

'Breath of the Wild 2's' Need for a Powerful Console

Screen Rant stated that "Breath of the Wild 2" might need a robust console for it to run smoothly. They also added that the Nintendo Switch is relatively pushed to its limits by most games, such as "Breath of the Wild."

Undoubtedly, the new "Zelda" game will have graphical updates that could affect a Nintendo Switch user's gameplay.

We can already expect "Breath of the Wild 2" to require a more robust console, and the Nintendo Switch Pro would indeed offer a better gaming experience for users because of its updated system.
