Apple and LG are likely expanding their partnership. The latest report says that the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch are coming to the retail stores of the South Korean giant in its originating country. Unfortunately, the MacBook is unlikely to be sold to these shops.
According to Business Korea, the retail store welcoming the products of the Cupertino giant, called LG Best Shops, boasts more than 400 locations in South Korea.
On the other hand, the Apple Store in the Samsung-dominated country is only limited to two.
The reported partnership comes a few months after LG expelled its ambitions to compete in the saturated smartphone market, wherein another South Korean brand, Samsung, reigns globally.
The abrupt decision has let go of the promising LG Rollable Phone. However, the rollable tech is still coming to life as Samsung plans to release it.
Elsewhere, OPPO released a phone sporting a similar flexible screen in 2021.
Apple Products on LG Retail Stores
The shutdown of the LG smartphone division has left its vast retail stores deserted from the once plethora of devices, MacRumors reported. Therefore, LG Best Shops is an opportunity to easily expand in the South Korean market.
"LG Electronics acquires the right to the sale of Apple products," Business Korea reported.
The tech giants have not decided whether Apple sales representative or LG Best Shop employees will be selling the Cupertino products.
The exact date of the collaboration has yet to be determined. However, according to experts, after the end of July, customers will see the Apple products of the LG stores.

MacBook Not Included?
Business Korea added that MacBooks and iMacs are likely to be put off from the partnership. It comes as LG still sells "Gram" laptops, which directly compete with the Macs.
As such, Apple fans in Korea will likely be disappointed that Macs will not be available in the new location of the Cupertino products. Nevertheless, the iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches and perhaps their accessories are likely to come to the LG Best Shops.
However, LG reiterated that the partnership is still coming to a final decision. Thus, fans should take the latest report with a grain of salt.
The disagreement with the Macs could perhaps put an end to the emerging partnership, or a compromise could be done instead — no one really knows.
