Right now, the latest iPhone models and newest Samsung Galaxys dominate the camera smartphones in the market. Thanks to Apple's latest LiDAR feature and Samsung's 100x zoom capability, many fans are now switching to them, especially those who love taking photos and videos.

But, Google Pixel could change this once it releases its enhanced Astrophotography Timelaps camera mode. If you have no idea what it is, here are other major details of the upcoming camera feature.

Google Pixel's Advanced Camera Mode

According to Tech Radar's latest report, the current Google Pixel 3 and the latest Google Pixel 5, and other models in between have the Astrophotography Timelapse mode.

And now, Google confirmed that a more advanced version could arrive in the upcoming Google Play Store's 8.2.3 version. The search engine giant also added that this new camera mode could appear as part of the Pixel Feature Drops.

On the other hand, the new advanced Astrophotography Timelaps Mode allows the user to take photos of the moon and stars in HD (high definition).

This simply means that this camera feature is specifically designed to capture scenes with low light or no light at all.

Once it arrives, it can compete with Samsung's 100x Zoom feature, which can capture the moon in HD, and other advanced features of Apple and other giant smartphone manufacturers.

Reasons Why You Need to Buy Google Pixel

Aside from the upcoming Astrophotography Timelapse Mode, other features would make you buy Google's smartphones. One of these is its great ecosystem, which prevents bloatware, as reported by CNET.

Google's smartphone system prevents unwanted apps, services, and other useless software from running in your device's background. On the other hand, Google Pixel phones also receive the latest OS updates compared to other devices developed by the search engine giant.
