OnePlus Nord CE 5G specs leak revealed shows a switch from one Snapdragon to another. Some time last year, OnePlus started embarking on a brand new journey towards the whole mid-tier smartphone market. The company did so along with its Nord series and, at least according to the company, the series has become hot-selling items in the smartphone markets where they launch.

According to the story by SlashGear, it is still a bit curious, however, that the upcoming OnePlus Nord which the company plans to launch could be a downgrade of its previous model. Regardless, the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5G is expected to launch sometime next week and this latest leak shows absolutely everything one might want to know about the smartphone.
Granted, the total switch from a Snapdragon 765G in the new OnePlus Nord to the downgraded Snapdragon 750G which was rumored for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is not technically a big step down as it actually sounds. The camera drops from two to just one 16MP front-facing camera, on the other hand, that might actually disappoint some but is still probably negligible.

There is also another camera less on its back while the main camera, however, does not get upgraded to what people might expect 64MP. In different aspects of the phone, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G does have some slight upgrades but a lot of them are still pretty much the same, according to MySmartPrice.
The new phone's battery is also larger at a new 4,500 mAh but the storage and memory sections, however, still remain the same as last year's model. This means that the phone will get 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with 64 or 128GB of storage. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner, which was also present in the previous model.
CE or Core Edition
All in all, the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G seems to actually liven up with the attachment to its name "CE" or "Core Edition." This would also mean a distilled OnePlus Nord experience. It's still hard to tell as to whether or not the new OnePlus Nord will be able to live up to the previous model but fans will see once the phone launches on June 10, 2021.
The leak actually revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is expected to come out with an 8GB RAM and the 128GB storage which will cost about $340. Of course, OnePlus has already officially announced that it will be launching first in North America along with Europe and India.
Customers in other areas, however, will have to wait for a much more "distilled" type of OnePlus Nord N200 5G some time later this year. It is important to note that this is still a leak and fans will have to wait for the official launch this June 10, 2021 to know what the actual specs are.
