The tech giant company also clarified that it is really building a useful and error-corrected quantum computer, which could be released in this decade. Google said that it will develop this new advanced device in its new Santa Barbara-based Quantum AI campus.

This place has a quantum data center, hardware research laboratories, as well as facilities for quantum processor chip fabrication. Google explained that it is expected that the new AI campus would help it create new technologies that could solve climate change and world hunger.

To give you more idea, here are other major details of Google's in-development quantum computer.

Google's New Advance Quantum Computer

Google has been continuously releasing innovations.

However, most of its technologies focus on systems and software, such as the new Android 12. Meanwhile, the new Google quantum computer is an unusual one since it will bring a never-before-seen advanced Google device.

According to Financial Express' latest report, this new Google AI-powered tool will have the extra processing power, which is really essential when it comes to the simulation of molecules.

If Google's new quantum computer is proven effective, it could help create more carbon-efficient fertilizers, better batteries, and other innovations that could help people across the globe.

On the other hand, the search engine giant also claimed that it could help develop new targeted medicines in a short span.

How Google's Quantum Computer Could Help Experts

Explica reported that the new quantum computer of Google could carry out calculations much faster than a conventional computer.

Once this new AI-powered device is released, it could help experts believe that its quantum simulators and specialized calculators could solve many computing problems.

Aside from Google, IBM is also allegedly making its own commercial quantum computer. This innovation is a part of a partnership to drive discoveries in both the medical industries and pharmaceutical areas.
