Previously, speculation claimed that the iPhone giant manufacturer will unveil its new AirPods 3 during the previous April Spring Loaded event.

Unfortunately, this did not happen.

Although this is the case, some Apple analysts and fans didn't lose hope regarding the arrival of AirPods 3. Because of this, they now believe that the new Apple earphones could make an appearance this coming May 18.

This information was first claimed by YouTube leaker Luke Miani, claiming that the tech giant company will make the announcement on Tuesday, May 18. He added that the confirmation will come in the form of a press release.

Aside from this, he also believed that Apple would also debut its Apple Music Hi-Fi on the alleged AirPods 3's release date.

According to CNET's latest report, the new Apple AirPods 3 will still have an identical physical design as the current AirPods Pro. This means that the tech giant manufacturer's wearable device will still have the long stem, which sticks down from the user's ear.

Although this is the case, rumors still claimed that the new Apple earphones will still have a slight design difference from the current AirPods. They claimed that the new AirPods 3 will have a shorter stem.

Aside from the slight design change, Apple's upcoming wearable gadget could also have spatial audio support.

Although this is only a speculation, there's a high chance that this could happen since the current AirPods Pro and AirPods Max have spatial audio, which uses accelerometers and gyroscopes.

This feature could offer a virtual surround sound effect when watching supported TV shows and movies on an iPhone or iPad.

Other Innovations of Apple

Aside from the new AirPods 3, Apple is also working on a new feature of its Apple Music.

News 18 reported that the Apple Music version for Android could soon get lossless audio and an animated album cover.

The new lossless audio feature is expected to join the current options that include higher quality audio and reduced data usage.
