ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is yhe Perfect Laptop for Tons of Chrome Tabs With its 48GB RAM

Are you a sucker for opening so many Chrome tabs? Well, it seems like the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is the perfect laptop for you, and we're going to tell you why.

TweakTown reported on ASUS ROG's latest reveal, which showcased the beastly Zephyrus M16 super-thin gaming laptop. It is the company's first-ever 16-inch laptop which features pretty high-end hardware, perfect for the power user who wants top-end performance on the go.

Specs Fit For A King

So, what kind of hardware are we talking about? Balling, rad, fire-as what the kids of today would say. The official spec sheet for this beauty on the ASUS ROG website says it all.

With this gaming laptop, you get an 11th gen Intel Core i9 11900H processor, which features 8 cores and 16 threads at a base clock of 2.5 GHz. But don't let that fool you, as those eight Willow Cove cores can reach max boost clocks of up to 4.9 GHz (almost double the base), according to NotebookCheck.net. With that much processing power, you'll never want for nothing as a content creator or gamer on the go.

But let's go to the proverbial meat of it all: the RAM. Remember when you were asked if you're a sucker for Chrome tabs? Well, the Zephyrus M16 has plenty of memory for that at the top end of the product stack: up to 48GB of high-speed 3200 MHz DDR4. 48 gigabytes of memory for Chrome to gobble up, and it's still going to have something left over for 500 more dinners.

Rounding up the hardware on this monster of an ASUS ROG laptop, the Zephyrus M16 can also support up to an insane 2TB of solid state PCIe Gen 4 storage, and will feature either an RTX 3070, 3060, or the newly announced RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. So programs and games will not only run smoothly, but also boot up so fast they'll make The Flash blush.

Crystal-Clear Display

Of course, what would those specifications do without a crystal-clear, high-refresh-rate screen to display all that goodness?

The overall slim, streamlined look of the screen owes its beauty to the 4.6mm bezels. It also has a blazing 165Hz refresh rate as reported on Engadget, which makes it perfect for competitive gaming where every single frame counts. And it offers all that on a 16-inch display that also supports adaptive sync. Lastly, the native widescreen 1440p resolution rounds the awesomeness of the display up in true ASUS ROG fashion.

It's not all about gaming, too. ASUS ROG made it a point to also market the Zephyrus M16 to content creators. Frankly, the 48GB of RAM isn't really intended for gamers, but for workers who want to get things done. With that much memory, rendering on Adobe Premiere Pro, for instance, would be a breeze. Not to mention, its 100% DCI-P3 color gamut is more than enough to make colors pop, taking image editing to a whole new level.
