For the Poland-based game developer of "Cyberpunk 2077," "The Witcher 3" would be receiving an improved version of the game in the future. The next-gen update will serve Xbox Series X, PC, and PS5 gamers through the upcoming post-launch content, as well as major in-game and technical enhancements.

The most recent video released by the gaming company has left all fans in surprise. According to "Halk Hogan," a known modder in the game, there is a reason why the CDPR officially sent him a message which involves collaboration.

"While it's not certain yet, it's very likely that HDRP will be included in the official next-generation update. I will inform you what's next." Halk Hogan said, NME reported.

If you are already well-versed in mod exploration, you can easily access them via Nexus Mods. For example, the mods created by Hogan are displayed there.

What he did was a highly-developed mod to change the current textures of the game which will make use of more advanced 4K features. This will guarantee that the next update will boast an increased quality of visual effects.

For five years, the mod has been on Hogan's book--a vision that he set yearly as he eyed for the newer texture improvements in "The Witcher 3."

Last week, Kotaku interviewed CD Projekt Red about the intervention of fans in the game. The gaming company said that besides the imminent release of "The Witcher 3's" next-gen update on select gaming consoles like PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, it was now discussing the various mods from the creators for the re-release of the 2015 game edition.

'The Witcher 3' Game Director is Out

As per Bloomberg's May 5 report, "The Witcher 3" game director, Konrad Tomaskiewicz has resigned from the team after he reported several cases of bullying against him.

Through an email to the staff of the CD Projekt Red, Tomaszkiewicz officially tendered his resignation. From the same news media outlet, the top director noted that the bullying allegations directed to him have persisted for several months.

However, as the investigation continued, he proved that he was not guilty in the case. Tomaszkiewicz said that people around him could be feeling stressed and uncomfortable working with him. He later apologized for the "bad blood" that he had caused to them.

Somehow, CD Projekt Red's way to reach out to more fans could be a springboard for a newly established program for the developers and the modders. It would be cooler if the mod creators could get the value that they deserve since the game will not be alive if it isn't for the fans and dedicated programmers.
