"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" will be introducing fresh new content in the following weeks, including the International Museum Day celebration and the upcoming Wedding Season.
While waiting, here's a quick recap on "Animal Crossing: New Horizons'" Terraforming feature to help players ramp up their game in path construction, cliffscaping, and waterscaping.
'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Terraforming Guide
"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" released the Terraforming feature to elevate the players' experience while building their islands.
Players who have not taken advantage of the Terraforming feature are missing out on building the best island in the game.
The Terraforming feature unlocks once the "Project K" is completed; Tom Nook will give the Island Designer app on the players' Nook Phone right after K.K. Slider has finished his first concert.
The Island Designer app will allow players to start with laying dirt paths and replacing grass, but the waterscaping and cliffscaping will only be available upon purchasing permits at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services.
To maximize the options for the kinds of paths available, players need to pay an additional, one-time fee in Nook Miles.
EssentiallySports gave a few pointers on how to maximize the terraforming feature and level up the players' game experience.
According to the report, it is ideal for players to lay a uniform path design throughout the island to make it look clean and organized, and adding a touch of secondary path design, flower beds, stages, and platforms. To add more flair, players could combine cliffscaping and waterscaping to build their waterfalls, rivers, and more.
Combining waterscaping with stepping stones and/or elegant bridges would help attract more visitors to the islands.
Celebrate International Museum Day, Wedding Season
May and June 2021 is going to be eventful for "Animal Crossing: New Horizons," starting with Nintendo releasing seven "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" CD featuring theme songs heard throughout the game.
On Apr. 28, Nintendo announced upcoming events starting with May Day, which began on Apr. 29, the International Museum Day celebration, and Wedding Season.
From May 18 to 31, players could participate in a Stamp Rally by talking to Blathers, where they would receive a special stamp card. To collect stamps, players need to go to various museum exhibits and enjoy viewing art, fossils, fish, and insects.
"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" is also bringing the Wedding Season experience to the game, and the month of June will be filled with wedding-themed furniture, decorations, and fashion items.
Help Reese and Cyrus take adorable wedding photos on Harvey's Island, and get the wedding-themed items at the Nook Shopping and Able Sisters during the entire June.
Lastly, players could get new seasonal items at the Nook Shop, including selections based on Cheese Rolling and Mother's Day.
