For those who are worried about the "Pokemon" Snap release date or what time "Pokemon" Snap would come out, the answer is today! While there are a lot of new looks and interestingly designed main characters of the game as well as how the "Pokemon" looks, one iconic thing that the game has is that the "Pokemon" Company has been able to retain some really precious cameos that would happen earlier in the game like the appearance of the iconic Todd Snap!

New 'Pokemon' Snap Game

For those that aren't that familiar, Mr. Snap is the main protagonist coming from the original "Pokemon" Snap and is also a character that frequently makes appearances in the manga and anime. Back during the glory days of the original "Pokemon" Snap, Todd was still quite a goofy kid that had a big camera who the famous Professor Oak had hired in order to take pictures of some particular wild "Pokemon."

It's probably time for a new "Pokemon" Snap celebration!

More about Mr. Snap: throughout the course of the game, he then discovered what was supposedly a mysterious "Pokemon" Sign in which Professor Oak had connected to certain constellations bright in the night sky. This then led him to send Todd Snap "into space" in order to take photos of the mystical Mew.

'Pokemon' Snap Celebration of Mr. Snap's Career

According to IGN, the new "Pokemon" Snap, however, shows that the photos of Mew had actually been a critical point of Todd's career and he became a world-famous photographer. Of course, he is already an adult now with generously better hair as well as a much better fashion sense compared to him as a kid in his giant cargo shorts.

While the new "Pokemon" Snap seems like a major spoiler, it's really not. Todd Snap makes his appearance during the very first hour of the new "Pokemon" Snap and simply hangs out with the player and the player's photography friends throughout the game. He also mostly shows up in certain cutscenes along with Professor Mirror as well as the research assistants Phil and Rita to give players directions as well as other photography tips.

'Pokemon' Snap Mr. Snap

Unfortunately, the new "Pokemon" Snap doesn't really get that much of a big plot role despite him being a successful photographer. It seems like Phil also initially treats the player as a sort of photography rival that is trying to vye for Todd's attention. However, no matter what players do, it never really plays out in a significant way that would matter.

Another major role of Todd in the new "Pokemon" Snap is offering his very own "Todd's Tips" during the loading screen in order to help players get better shots. The new "Pokemon" Snap is already available on the Nintendo Switch and a "Pokemon" Snap review is being expected soon.
