'Genshin Impact' PS5's Release Date: More Native 4K Resolution Support and Other Major Details

MiHoYo confirmed that "Genshin Impact" will arrive on PlayStation 5 platform sooner than fans have expected. The game's PS5 availability is expected to arrive this coming Apr. 28.

The team added that this will also help them to improve the game and visual quality performance of the upcoming PS5 version. On the other hand, MiHoYo said that the upcoming PS5 support will offer enhanced graphics, sharper and richer Teyvat details, and more.

Aside from this, MiHoYo also confirmed that it is now working on adding support for the DualSense Controller's features. Once this capability is available, "Genshin Impact" fans should expect a more high-end gaming experience, especially since "Genshin Impact" 1.5 will arrive on Apr. 28.

Other major updates

Once MiHoYo releases the new "Genshin Impact" PS5 support, there will be some major updates and enhancements that will surely change your gaming experience.

These include enhanced Level of Detail distance, exclusive view of a remodeled Qingyun Peak in Liyue, which is one of the well-known places in the game, and more. Since it will coincide with the upcoming 1.5 version of the game, then you can also expect these new content and characters:

• Eula and Yangfei
• New dragon boss Geo
• Dragonspine Claymore
• Abyss Lector
• Housing system

Aside from these, MiHoYo also confirmed that the PS5 version will also have new cities, stories, seasonal events, and other exciting updates as the game progresses. The game developer also added that players will also have faster game loading times, offering them a seamless adventure in the in-game environments.
