What appears to be a video of a seductive woman in the post seems to be a clickbait for users to open the link. However, you should be cautious about this post since this could be an outlet for a malware attack.

On Tuesday, Apr. 20, users were disturbed by random tags from people with whom they are not friends. At that time, many users voiced out the blame for those who tagged them in the malicious link.

INQUIRER.net reported that clicking the link could activate malware that could be installed in your smartphone and other devices. Currently, there are already more than 20,000 comments in the post.

At the time, the news outlet from the Philippines has contacted Facebook about the problem, but the social media giant has not yet answered their questions.

As a reminder to the public, the Philippine National Police Anti Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) issued a warning on the users to similar sites that prompted phishing scams.

Additionally, these sites deceive the users that "what they see is what they get," until it enables the entry of malware to the device. What's worse with this tactic is it could get your personal information like password, bank account, email address, and other sensitive details.

What did the Users say About this Issue?

Upon learning this incident, many users expressed their anger toward those who tagged them without their consent. One user said that she has already blocked more than five people who tagged her in the post.

Another user spoke that she has been receiving several reports on her account due to her tagging. She admitted that she has no idea or any knowledge about those people that she had tagged.

Moreover, another Facebook user posted that when people click the suspicious link, they will tag random persons without their knowledge.

With that being said, the simple accessing of the content could trigger the tagging issue which will result in a "domino" effect of tagging tens of thousands of people.
