Nintendo broadcasted its last Indie World Showcase on Thursday, Apr. 15, and the 20-minute event was packed with announcements for upcoming games that would be added on Nintendo Switch.

There is a good amount of variety in the showcase, according to Eurogamer. Everything from fantastical skateboarding worlds to generated road trips to a puzzle classic.

Here are some of the Indie games that will be added to Nintendo Switch:

"Road 96" is described as a narrative-focused game with a mix of adventure, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The game's story features generated elements, which means there are no two road trips that are alike, and choice will also play a massive part in how it unfolds.

This game will be available on Switch later this year.

"Oxenfree II: Lost Signals" is a surprise sequel to the incredibly surreal adventure game "Oxenfree," which has the same vibes as the hit TV show "Stranger Things."

The sequel is set five years after the first game and will be launching sometime this year.

"Olliolli World" is one of the best skateboarding games around. The game trades in real-world locations for a strange fantasy world where you set out in search of mystical skate gods, but it kept the same 2D skateboarding action as its predecessors. It will be out later this year.

"Aerial_Knight's Never Yield" takes place in a futuristic take on Detroit, one inspired in part by Tokyo, and it has a soundtrack that jumps between jazz and hip-hop.

It will be available on Switch on May 19.

"The Longing" is already out on PC, but the Switch version has recently rolled out this Apr. 15. It can give a new audience a chance to experience this strange game that takes 400 real-world days to finish.

"Fez" is one of the most influential indie games of all time. The perspective-shifting puzzle game "Fez" is making its debut on Switch on Apr. 15.

"Hindsight and Last Stop" is also headed to Switch. "Hindsight" is a game about discovering memories through objects, and "Last Stop," is the latest release from Virginia studio Variable State. They are expected to launch later this year.

Where to watch the Indie Worldwide Showcase

The Indie Worldwide Showcase stream will start at noon EDT and 9 am PDT on Apr. 21, according to the Nintendo's official Twitter account.

Fans can stream the latest episode of the showcase through YouTube.

This is Nintendo's first Indie World presentation in four months, and the first livestream since Nintendo Direct earlier this year. The Indie World last year included new information about "Super Meat Boy Forever", "Among Us", and more.

Many fans are waiting if there will be announcements regarding "Hollow Knight: Silksong," as the game has no launch date yet. Many are anticipating if this month's showcase will talk more about the game.

Fans can expect to hear more about "Axiom Verge 2," which was first announced for Nintendo Switch in 2019. In mid-February, Epic Games revealed its Windows PC version would be an Epic Games Store exclusive.

However, there were no other updates regarding the game after the mid-February event.
