Vaccine Memes Are All Over Twitter, Telling You to Refrain from Doing Recreational Activities After Being Vaccinated

This year, we have observed a significant difference in the number of persons who already received their COVID-19 vaccines. Regardless of whether you already have your first or second shot, you should still follow the safety protocols to minimize the spread of the virus.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, some people already lost their awareness of what is happening around them, without paying attention to the massive surge of COVID-19 cases.

For others, the pandemic is not an excuse to create "vaccine" memes that tell people to take care despite taking a vax jab. Let's find out the new trending meme wave on Twitter.

Being vaccinated does not directly guarantee that a person would not spread or acquire the virus. In that case, you still need to wear your face mask when you want to go outside your house.

Consider taking a COVID-19 jab like a souvenir that you want to treasure. It does not mean you are immune to the virus and can do all the things that you like such as going to the mall without a face mask, island hopping, going to concerts, and other similar activities.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) noted that once you get vaccinated, you should not visit indoors without donning a mask especially for those grandparents who have a high risk of acquiring COVID-19.

Furthermore, the website also suggests that those who have been fully vaccinated should not go to medium or large gatherings. If you have plans to reunite with your colleagues or your cousins, it's better to postpone them at the moment for everyone's safety.

'Vaccine' Memes Are Like Viruses: They Are Everywhere

Caitlin Welsh of Mashable spotted an escalating meme wave on Twitter about the post-vaccine experience. The new format of the meme starts with "Being vaccinated" followed by an activity which you could probably do after getting shots like going to movies, attending parties, and different undertakings.

"Being vaccinated does NOT mean you can host an extravagant party at your West Egg mansion that symbolizes the superficiality and moral corruption of the rich," one meme reads.

Another Twitter user posted a meme that says that being vaccinated does not mean that a person can now host a party for a professor and his wife to enjoy an endless night of drinking.

Users get creative in crafting this "Being vaccinated" meme as another user who appears to be a lover of "emo" songs has a different entry to the trend.

He says that being vaccinated does not mean that someone's son can be taken to the city to see the marching band. Moreover, he added that it also does not entitle someone to ask his/her son to be the savior of the broken, the beaten, and the damned, which is a reference to My Chemical Romance's "Welcome to the Black Parade."

Still, one user manages to pull out a meme about Mordor, a famous realm from the hit series, "The Lord of the Rings."

If you are to create your own "Being vaccinated" meme, what is it?
