Last week, the highly-anticipated crossbow that was once leaked by the game's very own developer has finally arrived in "Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War," but some players stated that they are having problems getting it.

Despite completing the necessary challenges in the FPS game, some are left without any weapon in what seems to be a strange and unusual bug in the game.

The reports are starting to build up on the sub-Reddit r/BlackOpsColdWar, as players post screenshots of a scorecard telling them that they have the appropriate amount of One Shot, One Kill medals, but there is no crossbow.

One post reads that he had finished the challenge for the crossbow but it won't let him use it. Another says that he had done all 15/15 challenges to unlock the weapon. He said he had stayed in the all the matches and the progress bar shows 15/15 but he still can't get the crossbow.

Both of them asked how to fix the issue.

Most of the complaints came Friday, Apr. 2, but one user's submission claims that they have had 15 points acquired since the day before on Apr. 1.

After the R1 Shadowhunter leaked, developer Treyarch announced that everyone who had unlocked it through regular progression, would be docked one point for when it came out properly.

Some are contemplating just buying it from the in-game store if nothing happens. One poster stated X-box won't unlock no matter how much he tried.

Treyarch is still trying to fix the issue and has not given a statement as to when it would be solved, so for now, all players can do is wait until the developers publish the patch that would fix the bug.

According to PCGamesSN, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War" mid-season update went live on Mar. 29, rebalancing a total of 11 weapons.
