April Fool's month is just starting. This means that you should still be careful if you don't want to be pranked by your friends and loved ones. But, if you want to be one of the pranksters, there are various apps and other tools you can use to pull off your tricks.
Then again, think twice about the pranks you do and make sure they are harmless.
According to HITC's latest report, some people are using Alex to prank their friends and family members this April Fool's month. This means that anyone can use their Amazon Echo devices to make fun of other individuals.
Here's how you can do it.
Alexa Pranks
If you want to prank anyone using your Alexa, the first thing you need to do is to grab the remote. After that, you need to press the button and say, "Simon says _____."
Once you are done with it, Alexa should repeat whatever you say. This will leave the people in the leaving room very confused.
On the other hand, you can also make Alexa talk very fast or really slow. This will also confuse your friends and family members since only a few users know this feature. Aside from these two tricks, there are also other pranks that are specifically for adults and kids.
For adults
If you want to prank your mom, dad, and other elders in your family, you can make Alexa play an emergency broadcast prank from YouTube. This will make them believe that there will be a nuclear attack.
To do this, you need to connect your Amazon Echo to your smartphone using Bluetooth.
For kids
On the other hand, the best prank to use for children is the fake fart sounds. You can set up a routine on your Alexa to increase the volume while it plays fake fart sound clips.
Other Alexa tricks you can do
Aside from the fake farts and emergency broadcast pranks, there are also other tricks you can do with your Alexa. One of these is to make it speak like Yoda, which is one of the characters in the popular "Star Wars" franchise.
Moreover, you can make Alexa say any facts. All you need to do is say, "Alexa, tell me something interesting," as previously explained by Toms Guide.
